Luka Zahovič, son of club legend Zlatko Zahovič, is close to returning to Maribor. He has spent the last five years in Poland, playing four years for Pogon and the last year and a half for Gornik. Besides Maribor, other clubs including Zaglebie, Motor, and Wieczysta Kraków have also shown significant interest in the forward.
