FK Sarajevo is in advanced negotiations to sign 29-year-old winger Luka Menalo from Rijeka, and the club is reportedly seeking to conclude the deal soon. Zoran Mamić, the sports advisor at FK Sarajevo, is the main proponent of the transfer, wanting to bring the Bosnia and Herzegovina international in as a reinforcement for coach Mario Cvitanović's team. As Menalo has a valid contract with Rijeka, Sarajevo will likely need to pay a transfer fee. Menalo was linked with Sarajevo in the past but chose to move to Celje instead. The transfer window in Bosnia and Herzegovina is open until February 6th, allowing time to finalize the signing.
