Luka Lucić is on the verge of joining Zagłębie Lubin as part of their transfer strategy for the 2025/2026 season. The 30-year-old Croatian defender, currently with Slaven Belupo in Croatia's top division, is undergoing medical examinations, marking the final phase before the transfer is finalized. Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl indicated that Lucić is anticipated to be the first addition to the team for the upcoming season. Despite being 30, Lucić has maintained regular appearances, playing 35 matches and scoring once in the last season. He is known for his versatility, able to operate both as a wing-back and a central defender. Lucić's career achievements include winning the Bosnian Premier League title with Zrinjski Mostar in 2017. Zagłębie Lubin, who concluded the season in 14th place, are aiming to bolster their squad, with Lucić's arrival expected soon.
