According to sources, the San Jose Earthquakes are in the final stages of a deal to sign Luka Jovanovic from Adelaide United. Jovanovic is an Australian youth international forward who also holds Serbian nationality. The 21-year-old was the co-winner of the A-League's Golden Boot last season, recording 11 goals and 3 assists in 1,639 minutes, and is set to join on a U-22 initiative deal. Jovanovic joined Adelaide United in July 2022 and has a contract that runs until June 30, 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.20m.
