Sporting Cristal is interested in bringing Peruvian right-back Luis Advíncula back to the country. According to the Peruvian program ‘Hablemos de MAX’, Sporting Cristal wants the 35-year-old to return for a third spell at the club in the next transfer window. The same media outlet reports that Advíncula has had contact with club officials and has agreed to begin negotiations. The outlet also reports he has given his approval for his new contract to be for a significantly lower salary than what he currently receives at Boca. His departure from Boca at the end of 2025 is considered probable, despite having a year left on his contract. The Peru international has 131 caps for his country and joined Boca Juniors in July 2021. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €300k.
