Luigi Sepe Transfer from Salernitana to Palermo

Tuttomercato has reported that Palermo is interested in signing free agent goalkeeper Luigi Sepe. The 34-year-old Italian, who previously played for Salernitana, became a free agent after terminating his contract with the club. Palermo is reportedly considering Sepe as a potential addition to bolster their goalkeeping lineup, particularly after injuries affected their main goalkeepers, Alfred Gomis and Francesco Bardi. Gomis reportedly sustained a fracture to his right arm's radius during a summer friendly match against Manchester City, while Bardi is currently out of action due to a foot injury. As a result, Palermo is left with only Jesse Joronen from their senior squad, which heightens the need to acquire an experienced goalkeeper like Sepe. Additionally, Pescara has also been mentioned as having interest in the goalkeeper, whose market value is assessed by Transfermarkt to be €250k.
