Luigi Cherubini Transfer from Roma to Sassuolo
According to Tuttomercato, Sassuolo has expressed interest in acquiring Luigi Cherubini from Roma to bolster their attacking lineup. The club has been interested since late June, but they were unable to agree on a transfer fee at that time. Sassuolo is still keeping an eye on Cherubini's situation while Roma's new coach, Gian Piero Gasperini, assesses him. Cherubini, who recently played against Everton, is currently under observation. The forward, born in 2004, had a successful season in Serie B with Carrarese, where he scored three goals in 34 appearances. Despite interest from other Serie A teams such as Parma and Hellas Verona, Roma is considering the possibility of allowing Cherubini to leave, possibly on a loan deal to give him more playing time, although a permanent transfer is also a possibility. Sassuolo remains interested and is waiting for Roma's decisions as Gasperini continues his evaluation over the coming weeks.
