Botev Vratsa's technical and coaching staff wants to sign a central defender for the spring part of the championship, a need that has arisen due to the departures of Bozhidar Chorbadzhiyski and Arian Kabashi. The club is reportedly looking at the foreign market, and one of the options they are considering is Luciano Squadrone, a 26-year-old Argentinian with an Italian passport who has previous experience with Beroe. In the autumn, he was part of the Albanian club Flamurtari. Squadrone joined his current club in July 2025 and has made 18 appearances in the Kategoria Superiore this season. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €500k.
