ESPN BR reported that Coritiba received a significant offer of 12 million dollars (R$ 66 million) from Neom SC for forward Lucas Ronier. The forward, however, did not want to transfer to Arab football. The potential sale would have been the largest in the history of Coritiba.

Brazilian winger Lucas Ronier, 21, remained at Coritiba despite interest from the foreign market. He joined the club in July 2023. The football department of Coritiba resisted international inquiries for Lucas Ronier to ensure competitiveness in the Brasileirão. His contract expires at the end of December 2027, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
