French defender Lucas Perrin has reached an agreement with FC Nantes for a two-year contract. The 27-year-old central defender joins from Sporting Gijón, where he spent one season and made 24 appearances in the Spanish second division last season. The financial details of the transfer have not been disclosed. Perrin was trained at Olympique de Marseille and has previously played in Germany and Belgium. He is the third summer signing for Nantes, a club aiming for a quick return to Ligue 1. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.00m.
