According to ESPN Brasil, former Tottenham Hotspur forward Lucas Moura has been linked with an unlikely reunion with Son Heung-min at LAFC in MLS after increased doubts about his situation at São Paulo.

Press reports had suggested that negotiations were underway with 33-year-old Brazilian winger Lucas Moura, as his contract with São Paulo expires at the end of the current season, with Al-Ahli Jeddah being reported as one of the interested clubs. However, ESPN has denied that Al-Ahli Jeddah are in talks to sign Lucas Moura, and confirmed that the Saudi club is not interested in signing him for the next season. The Brazil international has 37 caps for his country and has made a combined three appearances in the Campeonato Paulista and Série A this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €2.50m.
