Feyenoord is loaning nineteen-year-old Dutch defender Lucas Gardenier to FC Dordrecht for the upcoming season. Gardenier, who can play as a left-back or centrally, will compete in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie until the end of the season. This is the second loan agreement between the two clubs in a short period, as Ayoub Ouarghi made the same move earlier. Last season, Gardenier played for Feyenoord Under-21 and was included in the first-team squad for an Eredivisie matchday but did not make an appearance. The purpose of the move to the satellite club is for the left-footed player to gain experience in professional football. His contract with Feyenoord is valid until June 30, 2028.
