Atletico Mineiro, Cruzeiro, Corinthians, and Bahia have all submitted loan offers for the 20-year-old. However, a return to Brazil for Ferreira is considered improbable, because Shakhtar views his first season as one of adaptation and anticipates he will become an important player for their team in the upcoming season. Ferreira joined the club in August 2025 and his contract runs until 2030.
