Anderlecht, who are looking for a new left-back, have identified Lucas Calodat of Le Mans as a target. The club is reportedly exploring multiple options as negotiations with Dundee United for another target, Will Ferry, have been difficult. Calodat, a 24-year-old French and Guadeloupean left-back who joined Le Mans in July 2024, had an excellent season in Ligue 2 and has a contract with the club until 2028 and a market value of €2.5 million. Sébastien Denis reports that Le Mans is open to Calodat's departure and that besides Anderlecht, FC Basel, Schalke 04, PSV Eindhoven, and several Ligue 1 clubs are also interested in the player.
