Maccabi Haifa is reportedly in advanced negotiations with 22-year-old Chilean attacking midfielder Lucas Assadi from Universidad de Chile as the Israeli club seeks to strengthen its attack this winter. The club is also in advanced talks with another attacking midfielder, Bruninho, who plays for Karpaty Lviv. Assadi, who has been capped six times by Chile, joined his current club in January 2022 and his contract runs until the end of 2026. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m. Independiente has also been associated with the player.
