Gil Vicente has arranged to sign goalkeeper Lucão from RB Bragantino to replace Andrew, who recently departed for Flamengo. The 24-year-old, a former Brazil youth international, will be the club's first winter reinforcement. Lucão is expected to arrive in Barcelos on Thursday, and Gil Vicente will pay a residual fee to the club from the state of São Paulo. He will sign a three-season contract lasting until 2029 and will compete for the starting position with Dani Figueira and André Picornell.
