The club is seeking an experienced player to partner with the young Alessandro Nunziante, who recently arrived from Udinese, and to fill the position of the departing Giacomo Venturi. Last season, Lezzerini made three appearances for Fiorentina in Serie A and the Conference League. A potential transfer would be a return to Serie B for the player, where he has previously made 158 appearances with Avellino, Venezia, and Brescia. It is uncertain if he would accept a mentorship role for his younger colleague. Lezzerini joined Fiorentina in August 2025, and his contract is valid until June 2028.
