German goalkeeper Luca Bendel, 22, received permission from Hallescher FC to look for another club. Daniel Meyer, former sporting director, communicated openly in spring that the club did not trust Bendel with the role of first-choice goalkeeper. Bendel stated that there were a few lukewarm things and he was open to everything, but there was nothing convincing for him, and that with the start of preparations, it was clear to him that he would take on the challenge there.
