Italian central midfielder Luca Belardinelli, 24, is reportedly set to leave Empoli after not being selected for matches in recent months, despite having captained the team this season. He has made seven appearances in Serie B for the club in the 2025/2026 season. According to La Nazione, there is renewed interest in the player from Reggiana. He made 32 appearances for that club last year. Belardinelli has one cap for the Italy U19 team and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €700k.
