Luc Marijnissen, a 22-year-old defender who played every match last season for Lierse SK in the Challenger Pro League and scored two goals, is set to transfer to FCV Dender. The transfer is reported by Gazet van Antwerpen and other Belgian media. Marijnissen is expected to undergo medical examinations and sign his contract at the beginning of next week. Dender will pay Lierse approximately 300,000 euros for the transfer, with ten percent of this amount going to NAC Breda, Marijnissen's former club.

Luc Marijnissen is highly sought after. He joined Lierse SK from NAC Breda in the summer of 2023 on a free transfer and became a key player. Several clubs from the Jupiler Pro League are interested in him. Lierse will receive a transfer fee as Marijnissen signed a new contract until 2027 in April. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 500k euros.
