Eintracht Frankfurt is one of several clubs interested in VfL Wolfsburg's 28-year-old Croatian international Lovro Majer, with Ajax, Como, Napoli, and Villarreal also showing interest. Wolfsburg is asking for a fee between ten and twelve million euros for the midfielder, who is under contract until the summer of 2028. It has been reported that Majer has decided on a summer departure, and it is very unlikely he will play for the German club next season, with a transfer completely certain if Wolfsburg is relegated. The Croatian international, who has 38 caps and 9 goals for his country, joined Wolfsburg from Rennes in August 2023 for a fee of €30 million, having previously moved to the French club from Dinamo Zagreb for €12 million in 2021.
