Lorenzo Pirola: Olympiakos Piraeus Contract Extension

Sport FM reported that Lorenzo Pirola expressed his enthusiasm about his contract renewal with Olympiacos until 2028 in statements on the team's official website.

Olympiacos announced on November 12, 2025, that Lorenzo Pirola's contract has been extended until 2028. Olympiacos wanted to keep the player satisfied with an increase in salary and considers him a key player. Lorenzo Pirola also wanted to remain in Piraeus.

According to Dimitris Christofidelis on the show BIG 4 by Betsson, Italian center-back Lorenzo Pirola has already signed his new contract with the Greek double winners as of Friday (7/11), and only the official announcements remain. The new agreement will provide annual earnings of €1,000,000. He will play for the Greek double winners until 2028, with an option to extend for one more year, until 2029.

Dimitris Christofidellis stated on the show BIG 4 by Betsson that Olympiacos has reached an agreement with Italian centre-back Lorenzo Pirola, 23, for the extension of his contract, and that only the official announcements remain. The agreement comes amid reported interest from several Serie A clubs, including Napoli, Bologna, and Roma.
