Gazzetta.gr reports that Roma is interested in acquiring Lorenzo Pirola. According to reports from Italy late on Thursday, Pirola is highly liked by people at Roma and they would like to acquire him. Olympiacos would demand over 10 million euros to begin any discussion. Lorenzo Pirola has officially secured a new contract with Olympiacos.

Information from Italy indicates that Roma is reportedly the most interested in Lorenzo Pirola at the moment. Olympiacos is not currently discussing the possibility of selling the 23-year-old center-back and instead intend to extend his contract until the summer of 2030. Pirola's current contract expires in June 2027 and, according to information, there are discussions to extend their cooperation with a readjustment of financial terms.

Roma is interested in acquiring Lorenzo Pirola to strengthen their defensive line. Olympiacos is expected to demand a transfer fee ranging from 15 to 20 million euros for the highly-rated central defender. The interest is reported by footitalia.com and noted by Ben Horlock on Twitter. Gasperini has requested five transfers, including a central defender, which may include Pirola.

Lorenzo Pirola is enjoying a successful season with Olympiakos, which has caught the attention of several prominent Italian clubs, such as Napoli and Juventus. AS Roma is also keeping a close eye on the young center-back's progress. Despite this interest, Olympiakos is not rushing to sell him, as they have faith in his potential and value their 3 million euro investment made last summer to acquire him from Salernitana. Pirola, who serves as the captain of Italy's Under-21 national team, has made 27 appearances for Olympiakos this season, demonstrating his high-level skills.
