Lorenzo Montipò Transfer from Hellas Verona to Palermo
According to Tuttomercato, Palermo is contemplating the acquisition of Lorenzo Montipò, a 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper, as a possible transfer option. The club is considering Montipò as an alternative choice due to the physical issues faced by Alfred Gomis. Montipò, who is currently playing for Hellas Verona, has become a target along with Juventus' Mattia Perin. This interest arose after Palermo's initial pursuits of Adrian Semper and Jonathan Klinssman were blocked by Pisa and Cesena, respectively. Despite these developments, Palermo feels no urgency to complete the transfer because they already have Bardi, an experienced goalkeeper, in their squad. Montipò's contract with Hellas Verona is valid until June 2026, and Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €2.00m. Besides Palermo, Torino and Juventus have also shown interest in the goalkeeper.
