A January departure for Lorenzo Meazzi from Pescara seems possible after the Italian midfielder was selected less frequently under manager Giorgio Gorgone. Salernitana has initiated contact with Pescara for the player, and the Abruzzese club has already approved the transfer of the 2001-born player. However, the move is contingent on the player's consent, which is still pending. According to a report from Il Centro, Meazzi's agent will meet with Salernitana's sporting director, Daniele Faggiano, to hear the club's proposal.
