According to Tuttomercato, interest from top clubs in Lorenzo Bernasconi is growing. Several clubs made approaches in January, including an inquiry from Roma, but Atalanta did not consider selling the player. A valuation of around 15 million euros was discussed, which Atalanta considered too low. For a potential transfer next summer, it is unlikely Atalanta will consider offers below 30 million euros.

According to Tuttosport, Roma offered Atalanta €15 million for 22-year-old Italian left-sided winger Lorenzo Bernasconi in the final hours of the winter transfer window. Atalanta rejected the proposal for the player, who was given his senior football debut by Gian Piero Gasperini. Roma will continue to monitor Bernasconi's progress with the intention of making a new attempt to sign him in the summer. Bernasconi's contract with the Bergamo-based club is valid until June 2028. In the current Serie A season, he has made 13 appearances, providing one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €4.00m.
