Lima leaving Fluminense?
Globo.com reports that Lima has signed with America do México, and that the negotiation was finalized in recent days.
According to Globo.com, Fluminense has arranged for midfielder Lima to be loaned to América-MEX, and the deal was closed after a meeting between the clubs on Saturday. The agreement is a loan until the end of 2026 with a purchase option, with terms similar to those of Raphael Veiga. Only bureaucratic details and the signing of the contract are required to finalize the deal. Lima is expected in Mexico for the announcement, as the Mexican transfer window closes next Tuesday.
Fluminense has advanced negotiations with América-MEX for the loan of Brazilian midfielder Lima, who is 29. The deal will be similar to the one involving Raphael Veiga, who recently left Palmeiras to join the Mexican team. Lima joined Fluminense on 01/01/2023, and his contract is valid until 31/12/2027. In the current 2025/2026 season, he has made 3 appearances in Campeonato Carioca and 1 appearance in Série A. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m.
