IFK Värnamo announced that Swedish goalkeeper Liam Selin, 20, is joining on loan from Danish club FC Midtjylland until 2026. The deal includes an option to make the move permanent. On the club's website, IFK Värnamo's sporting director, Jörgen Petersson, stated that Liam is an exciting goalkeeper who was recruited early by FC Midtjylland from Västerås SK. Petersson also noted that Selin has experience from both the Uefa Youth League and European senior cup matches, as a result of being selected for FC Midtjylland's European matches. Selin has not played in any competitive matches for FC Midtjylland's first team.
