Lex Lobinger Transfer from Viktoria Köln to MSV Duisburg

Lex Tyger Lobinger has transferred from Viktoria Köln to MSV Duisburg. The two clubs agreed that the details of the deal would remain confidential. Chris Schmoldt, Sporting Director of MSV Duisburg, said they are very pleased to have completed the transfer. Schmoldt added that there had been an exchange for a long time and that Tyger had clearly signaled he wanted to join the club. Stephan Küsters, the Sporting Director of Viktoria Köln, confirmed that Tyger approached them with the desire to leave. Küsters stated that the club complied with this wish as Tyger's contract was set to expire in the summer.

According to Kicker, Lex Tyger Lobinger is transferring from Viktoria Köln to MSV Duisburg. The German attacker is MSV Duisburg's second winter signing. The 26-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 17 appearances this season, was announced shortly after Duisburg arrived at their winter training camp in Belek, Turkey. In a club statement, MSV coach Dietmar Hirsch mentioned that they had been trying to secure the player for a very long time. Lobinger was expected to join the team at the training camp on Saturday evening. The attacker joined Viktoria Köln in July 2024 and his contract was set to expire on June 30, 2026. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €400k.
