Lewis Reid Transfer from Stranraer to Ross County
Ross County have signed 21-year-old Scottish centre back Lewis Reid from Stranraer for an undisclosed fee, following two seasons that resulted in him being named PFA Scotland League Two player of the year. Reid, who initially joined Stranraer on loan from Queen’s Park before the transfer became permanent last summer, made a total of 76 appearances for the club. Manager Stuart Kettlewell described Reid as an exciting prospect and said the player has earned the chance to play in a higher league. Kettlewell added that the defender, who has a background with the Queen's Park academy and has made approximately 80 senior appearances, will bring defensive solidity and a presence in both penalty areas.
