Tuttomercato reports that Hellas Verona FC has announced the acquisition of Leorat Bega from Stade Nyonnais. The Swiss midfielder has signed a contract with Hellas Verona until June 30, 2029. His contract with FC Stade Nyonnais was expiring. The acquisition is effective from July 1, 2026.

Hellas Verona has signed Leorat Bega, a midfielder born in 2003, from Stade Nyonnais. The agreement was reached in the last few hours, following days of successful negotiations. Bega, who is a Swiss national and also holds Kosovan nationality, is scheduled to arrive in the city early next week for a medical examination and to sign a three-year contract. This transfer is the first summer signing for the Venetian club. Bega's previous clubs include the youth teams of Servette and Friburgo in Germany, followed by periods at Will and Stade Nyonnais. The 22-year-old player made 32 appearances and scored 3 goals in the Challenge League during the 2025/2026 season. He has also been capped five times for the Switzerland U19 team, for which he scored one goal. According to Transfermarkt, Bega's estimated market value is €300k. The player had also been linked with PEC Zwolle.
