FK Partizan has officially loaned Leonard Owusu to the Norwegian club Fredrikstad for the 2026 campaign. The management of Fredrikstad insisted on extending his stay because of his particularly successful 2025 season and his impactful performances last year.

B92 reports that FK Partizan and Fredrikstad have reached an agreement for a new loan for Leonard Ovusu. Ovusu, who spent the previous year at Fredrikstad, will play for the Norwegian club until the end of 2026. The two clubs have agreed to extend their cooperation until the end of the current calendar year.

Ovusu will play for the Norwegian club Fredrikstad for the next year, until the end of the Norwegian championship. As part of further budget optimization, Partizan and Fredrikstad have agreed on terms under which the Norwegian club will take over part of the financial obligations towards the player.

Leonard Ovusu, a midfielder from Ghana, is deemed surplus to requirements by Partizan's coach, Srđan Blagojević. Fredrikstad has expressed interest in acquiring the player and is anticipated to cover half of his monthly salary, which totals 50,000 euros. It has been reported that the agreement between the Norwegian club and the player is virtually certain, with only the visa process remaining. This arrangement would enable Partizan to save 125,000 euros, as Ovusu has participated in only eight matches this season and has not been included in the squad for the past five games.
