Leon Kreković Transfer from Posusje to Kauno Žalgiris
FK Kauno Žalgiris, the current leader of the Lithuanian championship, has announced the signing of 26-year-old Croatian forward Leon Kreković. The forward is the second Croatian player signed by manager Željko Sopić, joining after Ivan Fiolić. Kreković arrives after a season with Posušje in the top league of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he scored five goals and provided one assist in 27 appearances. His club was relegated from the Premier League. The attacker, who moved from Hajduk to Beerschot for a €200,000 fee in 2021, will wear the number nine shirt for the Kaunas-based team. He has been capped twice for the Croatia U20 team, scoring two goals. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €400k.
