According to BILD, Hertha's Leon Jensen, 29, is close to moving to VfL Osnabrück. While Jensen was linked with 1. FC Magdeburg earlier in the day, a transfer to the newly promoted 2. Bundesliga club is now considered much more likely. BILD has learned that Jensen has an offer from Osnabrück and is currently negotiating with Hertha to terminate his contract, which is valid until 2027. The transfer is expected to be free, as Osnabrück is reportedly not able to pay a fee. A move would reunite Jensen with Osnabrück's Sporting Director, Joe Enochs, who was his former coach at FSV Zwickau.
