According to TEAMtalk, Leon Goretzka's representatives have held discussions with numerous Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle United, to generate interest in the German international midfielder for a potential summer move. This contact, made within the last six weeks to gauge interest, reportedly received a positive response from several of the clubs. Arsenal are said to have made a specific enquiry to Bayern regarding the 31-year-old's availability on deadline day. Outside of England, AC Milan, Marseille, and Atletico Madrid are also interested, and at least two clubs from the Saudi Pro League have registered early interest. Bayern Munich has confirmed that Goretzka will be leaving the club. The German international, who has 67 caps and 15 goals for his country, joined Bayern in July 2018 and his contract is set to expire in June 2026. In the current Bundesliga season, he has scored one goal in 18 appearances. His market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €15.00m. Bayern's asking price was reportedly around €20 million in January 2026, and offers from Atlético Madrid were rumoured to be in the €2-5 million range.
