Boreham Wood have signed 21-year-old Ipswich Town winger Leon Ayinde on loan until the end of the season. The Irishman, who also holds Nigerian citizenship and has one cap for the Republic of Ireland U21s, joined the Championship club from Cork City in January 2023 and has not yet made a first-team appearance for Ipswich. For the club's U21 side this season, he has scored three goals in 10 Premier League 2 appearances. He spent the previous season on loan in the National League with Rochdale, scoring two goals in 27 appearances.
