Léo Pétrot has signed a two-season contract with Anderlecht, joining on a free transfer after his contract with Elche expired. The 29-year-old left-footed French central defender made 32 appearances for the Spanish club last season. Anderlecht signed Pétrot to bring experience and physical presence to their defence, and he is considered a replacement for the departed Moussa Diarra.
