The 33-year-old Brazilian-Uruguayan defender Léo Coelho filed a lawsuit on July 10. He is seeking contract termination and a payment of 8.1 million Brazilian reais (just under 1.4 million euros) because the club owes him five months' salary and has not paid contributions to the Brazilian severance fund (FGTS). The defender claims the club also did not meet other obligations, such as image rights payments. He requested a court injunction to immediately become a free agent and be able to find a new club. Amazonas officially announced that the defender is leaving. He joined the club in August 2025, making 39 appearances and scoring two goals.
