Léo Chú is leaving Alverca on loan after being signed at the start of the season from Dallas in the USA. The 25-year-old Brazilian left-winger did not play any minutes for coach Custódio Castro, because persistent physical limitations meant he was never a valid option for the team. His arrival had been part of a large-scale change to the squad at the Ribatejo club. Chú will now return to Brazil to play for Athletic Club, which competes in the Brazilian Série B. Alverca made the loan official on a Sunday afternoon, and in their statement, expressed well wishes for the player's personal and professional future. The winger, who has one cap for Brazil, has a contract with Alverca until June 2028 and a Transfermarkt market value of €1.50m.
