Basel, along with Genk and Nice, attempted to sign Ferencváros' 25-year-old Haitian-French striker Lenny Joseph during the winter, and it is possible that some of these clubs may try again. It is reported that the list of interested parties has grown to include Crvena zvezda, managed by Dejan Stankovic, the newly-promoted Serie A side Monza, an unnamed Belgian club, and several teams from the top half of the French top flight. Joseph joined the Hungarian club in January 2025, and his contract is set to expire in June 2028. His current market value is €2.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
