In an interview with 'Championat', Akhmat head coach Stanislav Cherchesov stated that rumors of a potential transfer to CSKA had unsettled 26-year-old Russian winger Lechi Sadulaev. Cherchesov said he observed during the summer that the player was not himself, a time when it was uncertain if he would leave. He noted that the situation was worsened by Sadulaev's team and CSKA training on adjacent fields. The coach connected this distraction to Sadulaev missing the first training camp, having a disjointed second one, and not scoring any goals during the first part of the season. In the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, Sadulaev has made 18 appearances, recording 2 assists and no goals. The Russian international has 11 caps and 2 goals for his country. He has a contract with Akhmat Grozny until June 30, 2028, and his market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
