Spezia has targeted Sassuolo's Laurs Skjellerup, particularly as a potential replacement if Vanja Vlahovic leaves the club. The Danish striker, who was born in 2002, has not yet played for Sassuolo this season after joining from Goteborg last January. His time at the club has been limited to five appearances due to a thigh strain that sidelined him for several months. Sassuolo invested 5 million euros in Skjellerup and wants to send him to a club where he can play more regularly; Spezia is a possible destination. His contract with the club expires on 30/06/2029.
