The 28-year-old, described as a technically skilled midfielder, has signed a contract with the Belgian first division club that runs until 2030. The opportunity for a long-term reorientation for Bénes arose after a loan spell at Kayserispor in Turkey, where he made 32 appearances in the Süper Lig, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists in the 2025/2026 season.
