Lassina Traoré, a 25-year-old Burkina Faso forward for Shakhtar Donetsk, may move to FC Twente. According to media reports, the Dutch club's sporting director, Erik ten Hag, views the forward as a suitable choice to enhance the team's attack. Traoré was previously near to completing a transfer to the Belgian club Antwerp, but the transfer was not completed because the Ukrainian club changed the terms of the potential deal at a late stage. The forward, who has 31 caps and 13 goals for his country, joined Shakhtar in July 2021, and his contract expires in June 2026. Traoré originally moved to the Ukrainian club from Ajax for a reported €10 million in July 2021, while Antwerp's offer in July 2025 was reportedly approximately €2.5 million. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €3.00m.
