Heerenveen reported on Tuesday afternoon that Lasse Nordas is joining on loan from Luton Town.

Lasse Nordås, a 23-year-old Norwegian striker from Luton Town, will move to SC Heerenveen on a temporary basis after Luton agreed to the loan deal. He chose this move after turning down interest from Wrexham, Sheffield Wednesday, and Legia Warsaw. SC Heerenveen considers Nordås to be the ideal reinforcement for their attack, especially given the probable departure of Václav Sejk. The transfer follows a period in which Nordås had limited playing time after the dismissal of manager Matt Bloomfield, having started only four league matches this season. Nordås was sold by Tromsø for more than three million euros at the beginning of 2025. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is two million euros. In the current League One season, Nordås has made 11 appearances, scoring one goal and providing two assists. He has also been capped 12 times for the Norway U21 team, scoring three goals.
