FC Bologna has targeted 23-year-old German left-back Lasse Günther for a summer transfer. The left-back has two caps for Germany U20 and previously had an agreement to join SV Werder, but the move did not proceed as Werder considered SV Elversberg's €2.5 million asking price too high. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.50m. Subsequently, Günther extended his contract with his club until 2030, though he remains the most promising candidate for Bologna for economic and tactical reasons.
