English midfielder Kyle Dempsey, 30, has become Port Vale's fourth signing of the summer after agreeing a two-year deal with the League Two club. Dempsey arrives from Bolton Wanderers, where he made 161 appearances over three and a half seasons and won promotion from League One last season. Vale boss Jon Brady stated that Dempsey has qualities the team is looking to build upon.
