Krzysztof Piatek has made the decision to leave Istanbul Başakşehir and join Al Sadd. The transfer discussions began in January when Al Sadd expressed their readiness to welcome the Polish striker, but their offers were initially turned down by the Turkish club. Recently, Al Sadd's interest has grown significantly, and the agreement is nearing finalization. Piatek is set to relocate to Qatar on a permanent deal, committing to a three-year contract. Istanbul Başakşehir is expected to receive a transfer fee close to 10 million euros, along with additional bonuses. Prior to this, Piatek had declined an offer from Al Ain, a club from the United Arab Emirates, who achieved victory in the 2024 Asian Champions League under the management of coach Hernan Crespo.
