Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl reported that Krzysztof Piątek was close to moving from Al-Duhail to Al-Wahda on a loan basis. The transfer was to be a loan as Al-Duhail encountered significant difficulties in finding a club willing to sign the player on a permanent deal due to his lucrative contract, which runs until June 30, 2028. Włodarczyk later stated in 'Program Piłkarski' that the transaction is now highly uncertain because of financial reasons, specifically the division of the contract between the clubs. He said the situation, which had seemed close to being finalized, is now complicated by this issue. Włodarczyk added that he now questions whether the transfer will happen and that it is necessary to wait for the situation to develop.
