Kristijan Bistrović, the former midfielder for CSKA Moscow, is set to sign a contract with Akron that will last until the summer of 2028, as reported by journalist Ivan Karpov through his Telegram channel. The 27-year-old player is scheduled to travel to Samara for a medical examination next weekend, on September 6-7. Bistrović, who departed from CSKA Moscow on July 2, had been a member of the club since January 2018. Over his time there, he participated in 127 matches across various competitions, netting 10 goals and providing seven assists. He also achieved victories in the Russian Super Cup in 2018 and the Fonbet Russian Cup in 2025 with the team.
